Christmas Service Whaddon Way church
Our annual advent service is a wonderful celebration of our community coming together to rejoice and be thankful at this special time of year. The service led by our worship ambassadors includes contributions for all classes and our families whether or not practising Christians join us to celebrate the importance of our children ‘letting their light shine.’
Feature service at Whaddon Way church
Once a year, our worship ambassadors are invited to lead the Sunday service at Whaddon Way church. This is a lovely opportunity for us to celebrate how our Christian values enrich all our lives. This year, Paulina, Alex and Faye led the service. We told the story from the Old Testament of the parting of the sea, a pivotal moment of trust where God keeps the Israelites safe. It reminds us that God is always there to guide us. In the service, the children share their own bidding prayers and we thank God for all the wonderful things our school has achieved throughout the year.
